In a salt spray test, the specimen is usually a metal or other material with an anti-corrosion coating. The specimen is placed in a salt spray test chamber in which a salt water mist is generated by a spray device. The specimen is exposed to high humidity and salt water mist for 48 hours.
By observing the corrosion of the specimen, the corrosion resistance of the material or coating can be assessed. The test results are rated according to the degree of corrosion on the surface of the specimen, and all of our products pass the 48-hour medium-sized salt spray test at level 9.
